We offer newborn circumcisions within the neonatal period. There are multiple reasons why parents consider circumcising their newborn baby boys and these can be discussed with your surgeon at the time of your consultation.

The most common reason for tongue tie division is to improve the latch and suck in breastfed infants. This division can be done under local anaesthetic in the rooms and mothers generally find an immediate improvement in the baby's latch. The referral for a tongue tie release is often done after initial consultation with a lactation specialist.
